Contacts that exist in Narware can be created in a multitude of ways. These ways consist of a manual creation or upload of a contact within Narware by a User, contacts who registers for a Webinar of a connected Webinar Account or contacts who interact with a provided Smart Link. Upon the creation of these contact records in some cases the information of the Contact will be pulled from the connected CRM and in some cases the Contact record will be created as a New Contact in Narware and in the connected integration being created or updated.
This article will provide a high level overview of how contacts are Created, Synced or Edited by the different Narware processes to ensure expectations.
New contacts created by Narware
Narware will create "New Contacts" in Narware if a contact does not already exist in Narware with a matching email and they do not match an existing Contact in the connected integration.
These contacts will only be synced to the connected integration or CRM if, the created Contact record was a result of a successful registration. If for some reason the contact was not registered for a Webinar the record will only exist in Narware until the related email successfully registers to a future Webinar.
Getting Contacts from your Integrated Account or CRM
Narware will always look first if the contact doesn't already exist in Narware to verify if the Contacts information is already available for the related email in the connected Integration or CRM.
• If the Contact email does exist in the Connected CRM, Narware will get the Contacts Name, Phone Number, Country and CRM ID and create a contact record in Narware with this information.
• If the Contact does not exist in the Connected CRM, Narware will create a "New Contact" with only the email address in the connected CRM and then sync the created CRM ID back to the Contact Record in Narware.
Continuous Sync of Contact Records
Narware will continue to keep the contact information in sync if updated on the CRM or in Narware.
• If a contact is created in Narware without a provided name Narware will name these Contacts "New Contact". The value "New Contact" will not get mapped to a connected integration and all integrations will receive a blank value for the Name.
